Amen brother! That money was spent to give me options.

Sounds about right. It's all right, though. I'd be a fairly benevolent dictator. Pretty hands off kind of ruler, really.

Yeah, I never understood why supervillains wanted to rule the world - that sounds like a LOT of work, even if you were to do it with a fair amount of iron fistiness. Plus, you would always have to worry about insurgencies.

Gotta have something to occupy your time if you're going to live forever. May as well be crushing rebellion.

It'd be easier to just mind control the elected world leaders. Insurrection probably won't be so widespread.

Starting my own religion would be fun, too. Maybe even better than world domination. Think about it, if someone could perform bonafide, 100% real "miracles", how many followers do you think they could round up? Heal the sick occassionally, fly around a little bit and just happen to be filmed doing so, speak in tongues every so often...I'd never be bored. 8-)

I don't think this applies on Rifts Earth.

On Rifts Earth there is always a a bigger meaner tougher Godling/Demon?Dragon/Super-Being.

You might be able to do anything you want within a small area but if you go to another area then you could get into it with an equally strong or even more powerful creature/godling/dragon that can and probably will hand you your ass. :P

Maybe your gaming group would be 100% ok with me parading around all the classes and races from the 40ish Rifts books around as NPC's for them to fight and team up with but never letting them be something else but what's in the Main Book....mine would jump me as I was walking to my car while my arms were full with stuff and proceed to "convince" me to lift that particular rule.

Probably either Rogue Scientist or Scholar.

I'm surprised nobody's said "Lord Splynncryth" yet. You get your own continent, disgusting magical powers, all sorts of cool toys, a megaversal trading empire, tentacles, and blind warrior women slaves. What's not to like?

I'd personally go the Cosmo Knight route, if it were available to me... this being Rifts and not Phase World, however, I should probably pick something else. :)

Perhaps my somewhat forgetful shapeshifter character, though constantly forgetting what it is you actually are can sometimes be a bit awkward. Unrestrained shapeshifting is a really useful ability though!

Or heck, a free-born Dog Boy, with some decent stuff and a desire to help others.

Hey... do they let Dog Boys in on the whole Cosmo Knight thing?

Apparently being SN isn't even a disqualifier for becoming CK - apparently it is worded where it isn't frequent but possible (the dreaded "usually" or "rarely" wording).

right now? I'd want to be a shifter. I'd summon a thousand demons, lock them in a room full of typewriters and force them to write world books. Then I'd summon a succubus for obvious reasons. Then I'd summon a possessing entity, and force it to possess my neighbors so they would drive me to the grocery store. Hell I may as well make them buy me a new car too.
Tomorrow morning I'll wish i was a hyperion juicer so i wouldn't need to sleep and I could get my work done in a fraction of the time it takes me now. And then when I was done i could run home.
This weekend when we hit the clubs I'll wish I was a city rat in order to fit in better with the drunken hipster masses.

All things considered I'll think I'll stick with Shifter.

I'd be a Lost One, gives immortality plus master psionics. Toss in some magic and scholar OCCs, I'd like it.

The downside would be that I could get lonely as everyone else ages and dies, so I imagine I'd need some long-lived dragon and godling friends to keep me sane after a few thousand years.

Spacial Mage Mulka. This way I can checkout the entire Megaverse without worry, can drop anything that tries to mess with me, and can build my own pocket dimension whenever I get bored.

And that dimension's rules of being will consist of official Palladium rules & rulings. I want to see if it'll collapse in on itself from all the contradictions. :P

This reminds me of the children's book "When I Grow Up" by Mercer Mayer where the "child" in the story lists all the professions she will do when she gets older - this includes chef, fireman, racecar driver, truck driver, veterinarian, etc.

Assuming I remained on our earth, Rogue scholar. (I'm halfway there already.)

Does this mean that you're a Rogue, or that you're a Scholar?

If you had the abilities of a hyperion juicer(without the drugs and short lifespan, because I'm nice), would you really keep your job?

Imagine how easily you could become a famous athelete. Records would be yours to break. Olympic medals and multi-million dollar endorsements to be had...

In my example there weren't any drugs. He just had the benefits without the negative side-effects. :D

but then I wouldn't be a Juicer. I'd be an HU character, which aren't Rifts characters.

Shifter.
Just imagine:
Infinite dimensions out there to explore.
Countless civilizations to encounter.
A nearly endless array of demons to enslave.

Definitely a Shifter.

If I got rifted right now, I'd probably be in MadHaven. If that book's got more OCC's, I might change my mind from this posting. BUT - presumably I survive enough to find out WTH is going on, and I got a decent amount of OCC's available in that area to choose from...

I'd most likely be a Ley Line Walker. As much as I like soldier/merc type characters & OCC's, I'd most likely fall in line with a mystic OCC, and the Line Walker has some great abilities, access to spells and I love the idea of unwrapping my mask/helmet to reveal myself unto my friends/foes...a'la Khan :D

Barrign that a full conversion CS Strike Trooper would be pretty darm cool, or may be a Cyber-Humanoid so I'd still hav my skin.

I think I'd want to be a Cyber Knight...especially since a very nice person once described me as having the heart of one. :)

Other than that - a True Atlantean Undead Slayer. Lots of MDC, lots of PPE, nice powers, nice weapons, physically strong, very long lifespan, OK looking, and otherwise a good all-around class.

/Sub
There's a reason...and a very good one...that I have certain people in this forum blocked both here and on Facebook.

I can see an illustration of that nearly every time I come here.

a TA US would be fun especially at over 7th lvl when you can activate you tatts without having to touch them.
