Hah. Norse is too doomed though. The Greeks are just sex fiend jerks who are fine as long as they never have kids to rise up against them.

Why rescue one woman when you have the opportunity to use her loss as a massive PR campaign as well as secure the powerbase for your empire? Prosek forged an empire without relying on "I'm God's messenger!" or by selling out humanity. Took a staunch "no d-bee, no magic" stance and built the greatest empire since the Golden Age of Humanity.....all without aliens & hocus pocus.

No one person is worth more than the well being of millions...no matter what movies or books say. You can always find a new wife.

Really :-? IMO he did sell out humanity by promoting illiteracy, bigotry and hatred. Oh and it's really not that much of an empire, the NGR is much more impressive. However this is not the correct place for this debate.

I would be a hatchling dragon, spells, psionics, supernatural strength, metamorphosis, very long life, teleporting and fluying around. That sounds like heaps of fun :D

Probably either Rogue Scientist or Scholar.

Because, honestly, do you want to have to put "Godling" on your resume?

My Godling would have the abilites of a Lord Magus(the inherent powers anyway, as godspawn I ignore OCC limitations) and a Spatial Mage with super psionics added to the mix(TK: Super, TK Force Field, Bio-Manipulation, Psi-Sword, Mentally Possess Others, & all Sensitive powers).

I'd whip up my own Dimensional Realm(using PPE stolen from my slain enemies) and populate it with thousands of primitives to woship me. Shortcut to full godhood. :)

:ok:

More power to ya, your Mulkaness!

Really, though, the Godling description allows for the choice of powers from magic OCCs, not the OCCs themselves. I guess if they're limited to those specified in the text, then I would probably go with Warlock(Air + Fire) and Shifter.

Ah, yes...

Munchkin-fest '06.

I wonder how often campaigns are played just using the OCC/RCC from either RMB or RUE...
"Things aren't what they used to be" is the rallying cry of small minds. When men say things used to be better, they invariably mean they were better for them, because they were young, and had all their hopes intact. The world is bound to look a darker place as you slide into the grave.

I see your point (and agree that godlings should not be restriceted) but by the book they are only give those few options.

I'd be perfectly happy with a Mind Melter. I'd just relocate to the Astral Plane and live forever wandering the Dragon Roads.

I've never actually played a Godling. They've never seemed that interesting to me for some reason. But really, if you were going to be gifted with enormous personal power in RL, wouldn't you prefer to get the most that you could out of the deal?

You know, it is said that with great power comes great responsibility. I think I heard that once or twice somewhere, at least...

I don't want the responsibility I have NOW, let alone with reality-manipulating powers...

This makes me think of the tagline for some comic book (I don't remember what it was - maybe someone out there will remember):

"Q: What would you do if you woke up with [some sort of reeeeeealy powerful super ability - the exact words escape me and they really aren't all that important since a lot of stuff could be substituted]?
A: Any damn thing you wanted..."

Or something very close to that.

Only stuff from the Main Book? Dunno about you man, but I didn't spend hundreds/thousands of dollars on my palladium collection to limit myself to just one book.
