That's odd. It's credited to me, but I don't ever remember creating it.
I still check the boards from time to time.Originally posted by gadrin.
I was hoping you'd check in on it.
I think I re-wrote someone's original idea to clean up the language for them.Originally posted by gadrin.
ah, well, I like my interpretation better.
He's the only person that's done more original stuff than me. That still annoys the hell out of me from time to time.Originally posted by gadrin.
man you and Sinestus were fairly prolific.

heh... good to know i still bug some people... and actually, there were a couple styles i made that i think didn't make it online...
i had way too much free time back in the daysad thing is, nowadays, i feel we need fewer, and more generic styles... with some custimizability built in,
so we don't need to publish an entire 400 page books of just 'every martial art n the world...'
tho... like the modern weapons compendium, that could work really well, with a standardized system and rules explaining how to use it ineach setting...

I think I remember where this came from. The original idea came from a poster named Zeus. I just named it and cleaned up the language a little.

This was in with a bunch of your other material, and done in your style, in my notes. Zeus hasn't said anything about doing the same thing to me, I'll ask him though.

Okay. Since this Special Kata is attributed to me, I might as well take ownership of it.
Raiden Kata (Thunder and Lightning Form): (Offensive) The function of this kata is simple, to either move as fast as lightning or to hit hard as thunder. Bonuses: This kata has two different ways it can be used. In the first version of this kata the martial artist commits to doing a high volume of damage. Sacrificing half of his or her attacks per melee, each punch now does double damage before the Damage Bonus. The second version of this kata allows the martial artist to launch more attacks with reduced damage. He or she now has double the attacks per melee, but they do half damage before adding in the Damage Bonus. In both versions of this kata, the martial artist forfeits Automatic Dodge and Automatic Parry for the duration of the kata.
