Is there any equipment sections that show what a single or group of bowstrings cost???
I have several players wanting to know but I haven't found it.
that had something to do with critical fumbles.

to my knowledge no there is not. But I would price it at 15% of the cost of the bow.

We may be through with the past, but the past is not through with us.

I've said it before-

"And a Ten-Foot Pole" is a great book that has a detailed list of pretty much any equipment you could want/need.

I've got that, and it is pretty good, but I also recommend getting some of the old-school D&D books (especially things like the 2nd edition class books) as well.

Oh and Dragon Magazine (especially the CD-ROM collection) shouldn't be overlooked.

only owning a Few PFRPG books, the Crimnson ed. Hardcover is the only version of the Main book i have... I've never Read it ... one of my Freinds did, and i wanted to kick him. is the Equipment Lists in it that aweful? I'd hope a Fantasy RPG book has List at least as good as my D&D books...

In some areas it is very detailed, and in other areas there simply is nothing. Food, for example, is very detailed, as is Containers and Clothing. Camping items however, are limited to tents, sleeping bags, and one or two other items, but no tent stakes or pads. Basically, it lists the big items, but not the small items that go with the big items. I don't have too much trouble with it, but for the folks who like to have every single item in their character's possession listed, down to the tweezers in their first aid kit, it could be a pain.

While there is a fairly decent amount of equipment listed in PF, with a few addons in other books, there just isn't alot of the "right" equipment that a typical character would need to perform many of the skills available in the game.
