Nice report! Great terrain and lovely paint job on the miniatures. But I have a question, did you play without the Zentraedi reinforcement rule? That's Grell's strong point!
I've played a few small games too. It's a great system and I've had a lot of fun with it too. The record keeping can be a bear. Have you tried using a die to mark damage? The D6 works great for the pods while a d20 is fine for the UEDF.
