How much do you use Rifters?

yes I use rifter stuff
Since most of the stuff in the rifters is optional.
well not everything is useful..... but more then a few are useful.


So I will pick I use the useful stuff in the rifters. Which is more then a few.

i voted 'a few', though that may grow. personally, i don't base it on whether or not it's in the rifter, but whether or not i consider it to be good quality material. i would use stuff that i consider to be good quality but which is not in the rifter, and i wouldn't use stuff which i consider to be poor quality but which did get into the rifter.

I use a few things. Like Daniel I tend to end up tweaking some part of it. But heck I do that with nearly all my game material.

Who Doesnt Tweak stuff ?? Not many.

Its not Rifter, but in the Merc Adventure book. Cold-Blooded OCC. I see no reason they should not have Supernatural PS to be honest. IF a PC asks me, I'd allow then to use Supernatural PS instead. Its not like it will break the game or unbalance things.

I'm with you and a Rifts articles. I also liked the Chaos Earth Blue line demons, the psionics in Rifter 25 but on a limited scale. The Rifter needs more official stuff like 50 & 51 and add the best stuff from the series to world books. Rifter 25 psionics was great but the minor power that had the psychic take half damage was very unbalancing in our game as too many creatures would have it slowing combat it needed to be a super-psionic power.

Our group use everything pretty much( I would say a 4th option for a "most' selection as oppose to a few...) with little or no tweaking. Though anything not for Rifts is more carefukly regulated...

We use about 75 percent of the material. Basically, if it's problematic or poorly written, we aren't going to use it, or if the math would confuse a calculus major with the amount of operations required, we don't use it.
