I'll have to wait a few more days, maybe a full week or so. Money's a little tight.

Got mine today. Great job guys. The union between artist and writer was fantastic. Still
trying to fine a favorite between the art and writing. To many choices :ok:

Will someone please tell Carl that I am beyond mad, and he should expect ninjas at any time?

..I got mine on Friday last week..

..Well, this was an odd one for me..

..I dropped off a CD with my writing projects on it back in the spring when Warwolf and I went up to help them move. I never heard anything back from them. So I'm playing around with Poser and I think, "I could do a couple of images for the swimsuit issue, and send them in as an excuse to call and ask about my writing submission".

..So I did, working on them off and on on the weekend while watching TV, and rendering them in my sleep. When I finished them and emailed copies to Wayne, I called and before I could get to the question about my writing projects, he was all excited about the images.

..Before I knew it he was giving me until the end of business the next day to get the final images to him. When I finally got to ask about the writing, he said he hadn't ever seen the submission. They spent two weeks unpacking and it must have gotten lost in the shuffle.

..I tried to use art to get my writing foot back in the door and realized too late that I used the wrong foot!

..Now I'm working on art to go with the writing submissions; I figure if they think I'm an artist maybe I can pull a Breaux and get an entire book to myself..

Picked up my Rifter yesterday, while out with the GF. We made a stop in a little pizza place on St. Marks Place, I treated her to the $2.75 special (2 slices & a can of soda) & I started reading the Sex Kittens/Wildcats article. She leaned in & started reading & liked what she read. I gave a brief intro of Doc Feral, but she was more intrigued reading the dispositions of the mutant animals. I made a point that that was one of the reasson why I read these books, but she was enjoying the descriptions too much. It brought a smile to her face & a much needed laugh (because she could see some parallels to her own personality in the entry). Kev, and Eric if you're listening, thanks from us both for that moment.

Bah, this issue is crap. The artists couldn't draw a stick figure to save their lives and the writers are all talentless hacks... :P

No, from what I've read it's pretty cool (though I'm not so familiar with most of The Wuj's settings). I've only read about a third of the pinups, but most are really solid and interesting characters. Congrats to all my fellow Freelancers on another job well done. Oh, and a special shout-out to the newcomer Amy Ashbaugh (whom I had the pleasure of meeting at GenCon). You all should keep your eyes on that lady's art, cause it's gonna go places.

There's a she-tiger assassin from AtB named Sumaiya.
There's also a scantily-clad goddess from Palladium Fantasy named Ma.
