The Hammer of the Forge

Unread post by Xar »

Assuming that the words, "The End" will ever be printed, would you buy a compilation of the adventures of Caleb & Co.?

I would, because I enjoyed it up to when I stopped collecting the Rifters. So, chapters 1-20 were enjoyable. However, after that, I'm spotty, and I'll probably never get all of them purchased since many that I'm missing are out of print.

So, would you buy a novel version?

I've never actually read it (despite having every issue of the Rifter), so I voted for tacos. I might get around to reading it after the next book or two I finish.

I've been reading it and enjoying it! I'd like to read it straight thru again!
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"

"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."

"As you will it, your Grace."

Unlikely. Since I already have every issue of The Rifter.

I had to choose the "it will never end" option. I mean, come on. 42 issues and counting? This thing is being milked for more than it's worth!
This world is far too small not to want to see it all, but life is far too short to allow that to happen. - Falcon, Ranger (My primary hero in PFRPG setting)

"Unhand me you slobbering son of an Orcish whore!" - Ariana Moonstone, Palladin (Another primary character of mine.)

"Bastard!" War cry of Strut, Barbarian Mercenary. (That's for you James!)

I also have every issue of the Rifter too. I'd like it to continue. I have created somethings based on things in this story.
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"

"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."

"As you will it, your Grace."

I'm sadden by it coming to an end.
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"

I think they should release it in a single volume with character stats and other information added at the end like they did with Perez' Machinations of Doom. Maybe they could save the final chapter for that volume instead of including it in The Rifter, too.

In all seriousness though, I picked the never ending option above. The conflict in Iraq will wind up before 'Hammer of the Forge' does.

I would, but only if it was given the same treatment the comic was. I would love to see some stated out heros and some artwork

“Ummm boB isn’t that a Coalition squad?"

Actually I'm glad to hear it's not ending! I like it!
