False advertising; it's a glider, nothing more.
Infact, it's less than a glider because you can land with a glider. All this is is a fancy parachute-backpack combo.

Okay, I missed read it. I saw the 135 mph speed of the thing and thought jet pack when I saw glider. Still, it's a good step in the right direction.

The British SAS were testing a similar unit several years ago, the wings looking more like a typical plane/glider, made of carbonfiber and what have you. Made so that the wings folded for sotrage and for hiding behind enemy lines, and would also stow gear between them. Though I'd say this design would hold more gear.
I think they've even used them to infiltrate enemy lines, though this may have just been the Frogs. 8p
