Well that depends, how many people in your group? Have they played RPG's before? Are you Gamemaster as your name implies or are you a player? What type of game play are you use to? Have you played RPG's before?

Wilderness skills are a must. Take at least one mechanical skill, as well as a medical skill.
Other than that, I'll need specific questions.

Talk to your GM about where your games will most often be set so you can pick the correct skills. For example lots of urban gaming you would want Streetwise and Wilderness Survival for the outdoors. I would strongly suggest Prowl as I used that just about every game. A good background for your character is a must as it really helps you get in the game. A good background will also help your GM with game idea.
