Size of Ley Lines and Nexus

I was doing some comparrison with Nightbane and some of the others
books. I was surprised that ley lines sizes where greater in Nightbane
then they where in PFRPG. They ley lines in Nightbane are 1/2 a mile
wide while the ones in PFRPG are a 1/4 mile wide. The Nightbane ones also
provide more PPE. I wonder if its because the PCs are all supernatural
base accept for the rare normal humans.

I was also running an adventure where I had a nexus in a major U.S city.
With the ley lines being 1/2 mile wide, it suddenly occured to me that
the crossing of two ley lines is 1/2 mile square and everyone within a
mile of that nexus receives power equal to a ley line. Furthermore, the
area around ley lines boost PPE if anyone is within 1/2 mile of them.
And when I plotted and mapped the three ley lines of the city on an actual
map  I couldn't believe how much of the entire city was iradiated
with PPE. So the idea of having only one building in the 1/2 mile
square nexus being the center of attention seemed rather...silly.
But the adventure went off without a problem, only now as I look
back on it does it needed some major retooling.
made me think

Nerdbane has a good explanation for the increased width of the lines, I hadn't given it much thought (the reason for which is because I haven't GM'ed for almost 5 yrs.)

Leylines and LLN are not visable on the NB earth, but are a step or two down from rifts earth LL & LLN, so are powerfull when taped by mages.
