Even Baton Rouge is underwater according to Rifts. The new coastline is at Alexandria.

I wouldn't hold much hope for Cuba, Haiti, and Pureto Rico, but I don't recall any information about them either.

So, yeah, major surge of sea levels during the cataclysm (probably related to plunking another continent in place) washed out most of the coastal areas around the world.

Dinosaur Swamp has some info on Louisiana. Check Vampire Kingdoms and Atlantis to get a bit of a look at the rest of the Gulf of mexico and the Carribean - though it won't say that much.

I think Atlantis landed on most of those islands.

Actually I beleive that all of those islands were basically swamped with no human life remaining.

Presumably they could be anywhere.
The only ones known are in the Magic Zone.

Actually, Baton Rouge is above water. The CS have a major Naval base there (Rifts: Coalition Navy).

I think Jamaica,Haiti,Dominican republic and Puerto rico were Wipe out by the return of Atlantis.

Cuba have the Best chance to have people living ther,But they will be Primitive.
Look in South America1.

But hey ther could be a Secret base that was rifted ther and they only make it look like that ther Primitive to throw off others.

Interesting link about New Orleans and sea Level.

http://ask.yahoo.com/ask/20041005.html

It also States in the RMB that Manhattan has raised, in turn causing it to become a peninsula. I guess we will all have to wait for RIFTS:Madhaven to come out to see for sure.

Yes!!!!!!

(useless hope)Quick someone tell kevin for when he makes the next underseas book that new orleans is underwater. He could make it a city inhabited by mermaids, those eel people, or a host of other underwater life(preferrable not all monsters maybe a war over the ruins of it?)
(useless hope for the next underseas book)
