Belgerphon

Is the Belgerphon Pass (see the Old Ones, 2nd edition, 24) named after anyone in particular? I am think of using the name for a character in the background of one of my quests and was hoping it hasn't been taken yet.

Been a while since I read Old Ones but I think that was the name of Timiro's first king. There is a reference to him I think in some city description.

I am also under the impression it is named after Timro's first king. I'd have to do some hunting to find the reference, but that was my instinct before I even saw Dustin's reply.

Actually the first King of Timero was King Spatenrok the Great. If the Belgerphon Pass is named after King Belgerphon, it is probably King Belgerphon the Great. He had 94 years of ruling and was a masterpeice of wisdom in governance. He established the courts, tripled Timero's lands, and greatly weakened all possible enemies.

as quoted from Old Ones book 1st edition page 11. there were 6 other King Belgerphon's.
We may be through with the past, but the past is not through with us.

D'oh! Thanks for the fill-in Entiago. No wonder I wasn't able to find the specific reference... Old Ones First Edition is the one PF book of either edition that I don't have. I've read it many times in the past though, hence the familiarity.

Yeah one of my first books, that and the 2nd ed PFRPG main book (FLGS didn't have 1st ed rule book). I wish they would have kept the history in 2nd ed of Old Ones, it helps out alot.
