Giant Sized weapons and armor

Unread post by Display-Name-Alpha »

does anyone know where I can find a table for prices and stats of giant sized weapons. preferably one for armor.

the Compendium of weapons and armor, palladium 2nd edition, and mount nimro arent any leads except what the NPC's are wearing.

Not off hand, but the way I house ruled it was weapons cost between 50 and 150% more, and armor was between 100 and 200% more (double to triple the cost).
We may be through with the past, but the past is not through with us.

Hehe, aye. He was asking though where to find tables in the books that specified stat and cost differences for giant sized weapons and armor, not just where in the world it was found.

As Wolfen, we play it pretty simple. No cost difference if you're buying it from giant size smiths (other Wolfen for example), as everything is just standard... Wolfen sized stuff, Wolfen sized economy ::shrug:: We can't use 'standard' size weapons very well though, for the most part, because the grips are too small. Even if it's plenty long, the diameter of the handle/shaft is going to be way to small for a Wolfen if it's a human sized weapon. Ever tried wielding a sword made for a person with a smaller hand? Even just a little bit makes it very hard.

For damage we simply do the "add one die damage" policy as listed in the main book, and we add a reasonable amount to the size and weight... generally an additional third to half for each.
