hmm, I'll have to think about this one...

It all depends on whether I prefer higher bonuses or lower ones. Or how much I want gaining levels to mean something.

Hey, it only had 2-3 votes yesterday...

Funny. So far the option with the most generous bonuses is winning by a wide margin. I wonder if the people who voted for that are the same ones who gripe about power creap?

Yeah, I understand the one that provides the most bonuses being the most popular. Personally, I like it when the level gains mean something which the more "munchy" one has appeal to me...

However, I prefer an even and comparable strike/parry progression while at the same time making level mean something.

None of the above

Secondaries give a +1, +1/2 levels
Primaries give +2+1/additional lvl

simple straight forward
The entire experiment may ultimately not work. But as Tiger Woods tears into the springbok, his mouth crimson with blood, he looks to have all the makings of a natural-born killer.

I would consider a secondary to have less bonuses but a wider variety of weapon usage as the secondary does not provide for weapon specific knowledge.
I've even created a specialization skill to help out with further dedicated knowledge
