The invocation Spell Purge Other on page 136 of the "Book of Magic"
Question #1:
Is this spell just the equivalent of Psychic Purification?

It can do everything Psychic Purification can AND MORE.
PP power can handle "chemicals, drugs, poisons, and toxins" and is "ineffective against magic potions, spells and faerie foods."
Purge Self/Other Spell can "remove all foreign substances", including (low levels, won't work on Partial or Full Conversion Borgs or Bio-Systems) of cybernetic implants, Symbiotes and Parasites (including Bio-Wizard in origin) and even possessing entities. The subject also feels fully rested/refreshed/clean, something the PP power does not do.
