hey folks.

Started back up my Palladium Youtube Series called "Railguns & Dragons" https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHfroCDsMXeHmXdRSEthsr7EwtdiO1zLn after a little bit of a break. I decided to bring it back by starting with Heroes Unlimited as I climb the hill to 1000 subscribers. I only need less then 100 to go.

I generally like doing videos about games I am about to start playing. We played Dead Reign (link in signature) for a little bit before COVID hit, but that fell apart. Weird question on this one. Your voice sounds really familiar, did you used to be one of the hosts for Roll For Initiative?

Also, I really liked your break down of robotics. I've always been a bit intimidated by Heroes Unlimited because there is a LOT of options and classes crammed into that book, but this makes it feel a lot more manageable when its broken out from the system itself like that.

For real, keep up the good work here. You have a real talent for taking things that seem complicated and making them sound easy.

Yes you are correct. I am the creator and host of that show, 11 years. I just recently kind of brought it back on my small little podcast I do, called RFI Minis. I talk about something AD&D 1e for 10 minutes or less. People seem to be enjoying... but good catch

I appreciate the praise and I absolutely understand what you mean about HU and the options. I look at things and try to come at it as if I wanted to learn it. This is how I would learn it, break it down, explain and show how. I LOVE Palladium games and that's what I am trying to show people, its fun, just give it a chance. I knew your voice sounded familiar! I cannot begin to describe to you how much that podcast defined my taste in gaming The whole RFI Network with Save or Die and THAC0's Hammer got me through my first few years of college (and a few more years of work after that ). You guys did some really quality work with that.

And I watched it. It's definitely a good walkthrough of what you get in the class and for people who are new to the game I think it'd be really useful. I'll probably add another to watch tonight when I get home.

That being said, sound quality is good, the video was good as well but here's one suggestion I might make, instead of having to scroll up and down like when you were looking at the size table and the mutant animal entry you may want to open the file in 2 different pdf apps so you can either have them side by side, or just tab between the 2 so it's a little faster/smoother of a transition.

Always glad to help, and I learned that trick at work and use it all the time because frankly I'm to lazy to scroll back and forth when tabbing is easier.
