So imagine a world topo map for rifts. But instead of elevations it is mana level. say 0 to 100.
With a set of rules and tables for randomly placing ley lines and color coding them based on strength. So a GM can pick a starting place for their campaign and place all the ley lines ahead of time so they know where all the ley lines are. Imagine how useful this would be.
