Unsolicited advice: Mention a couple, maybe three or four, notes on side goals for your named NPCs that a GM can use as jumping off points to reuse the character at a later date. It'll eat up less than a paragraph and add a ton of value.

Comment: What is genius? A Victim OCC (BtS 1st ed, p. 193 ss)! The ultimate hero is a victim conquering adversity.

That is excellent advise, Bill.

PFRPG Book 4 has the best layouts and adventures.

I do like various "read aloud to the players" descriptions and make each chapter/scenario noticeable so that each section is short. Therefore I can read two or three for each game session without reading a whole adventure to refresh my memory.

Try looking at the Lopanic Games adventure in the last Rifter.
Rifter 52 Cannibal Magic
Rifter 55 The Ancestral Mystic P.C.C.
Rifter 59 The Lopanic Games adventure "The Lion, the Ditch & the Warlock". Illustrations to this adventure can be found here.
Rifter 71 & 72 Double Issue Ninjas & Superspies adventure "On a Wing & a Prayer"
Rifter 80 Masters Unlimited

If you are after a RIFTER adventure layout then you would be surprised how many authors forget that the format they seek is what the majority of OTHERS desire and not what they themselves like the best.

Not a critique that that's you, but I do know lot's that forget they are writing for an audience and it is they needs that want to be met (myself too at sometimes) so it's worth mentioning.
