Very neat, would it force the Vampire to return to Human, or does the subject have to be willing? is there a save required? How much P.P.E. or I.S.P. would be required in this activation of it? Length of process (ritual?)

All in all the sheer cool factor of it has me intrigued.

Wait, since when did VI's drink the souls of regular people killed and turned? I'd say you'd need to work in some regular ressurection magic to handle calling back the soul.
Besides that, you'd want to put it in some exorcism of some sort for breaking the link to the VI.

Since the vampire essence is somewhat of a possession of the humanoid body, probably should include an exorcism and/or banishment, maybe a constrain being to control the essence.

WOuld not work i'm afraid. WHY ?
You left the character with Bones, Vampire Bone, which will regrow the entire Vampire body within 15 seconds.

The Person being Saved will explode in a gory fashion as the Vampire Bones regrow the vampiric flesh.

Now, If you wish to Transfer the person's soul into a new magically created human body. You will not be able to use any body part of the vampire's body however, as it will still be vampiric and regrow itself. Create a Clay Body elsewhere, turn it to flesh (it should create bones for the new body, since it can restore ppl turned to clay/stone).

Then you will still have the vampiric body, piloted by the VI around. Destroy it, behead it, sunlight it to death...

So, multiply the cost of gems by 10 and make it cost 30. Thanks, Anti-Vampire gun.

Yeah, I still haven't found any good spells that sound like they could be used in that fashion yet besides create cloud figures. I guess one could create a very small cloud inside the coffin that is an analog of the person, though it would require a photograph. I'd also throw in some Chi Magic to make sure the vampire absolutely can not regenerate via convert PPE to Chi and forcing the chi through the body. Basically, it should give the vampire positive chi infection, which will rob it of it's ability to regenerate. That way, even if something goes wrong and the stake falls out the vampire isn't going to suddenly start regenerating during the purification process.

If you pump positive chi into the vampire, it loses it's ability to regenerate entirely and there's no need to worry about the stake getting burned up. I understand the logic that if the fire is burning inside the vampire it's constantly taking damage, I'm just saying it could be made safer. :)

Well, you could pump holy water into the coffin, and if it has jet's like a jacuzzi it would be kind of neat

They are impervious to those things when they are actually up and active. This is not the case for a staked vampire if I recall.

I can just imagine the story someone would tell after being put through this thing.

Tim - "I was a vampire once! Then I got bag put over my head, got staked, then got put in an iron coffin where I had all my flesh melted off!" :D
