Differences in editions?

Whether it is a Veritech or a Valkyrie, Robotech or Macross II, Earth is in danger eitherway. Grab your mecha and fight the good fight.

Differences in editions?

Unread post by Nemo235 »

I'm sure this has been asked. Sorry.

Could someone please explain the differences between the paperback, hardback and limited editions of the game?

The description in the catalog says the hardback contains more material than the paperback, but is that stuff also included in the limited?

What is the extra bonus stuff?

the hard cover edition of the RT;TSC includes the different UEEF starships in addition to the mecha of the UEEF, Invid, and Hydonites.

Hardcover also has several corrections....most notably what the Wolverine Assault Rifle really is.
I know it is a little extreme to advocate the death penalty for stupidity...but can't we just remove all the warning labels and let nature take it's course???

Not sure what's in the Limited edition, but yeah, the Deluxe Hardcover has MANY corrections (although these are often very minor things, but there's a good number of them), UEEF capital ships, and (I believe) an expanded section on space combat in general. All of these are in addition to the Manga sized (paperback) version, so really the Deluxe Hardcover is the better entry point.

Again, I'm not sure what the limited edition has, but the description says it is exactly the same text, etc. from the Deluxe Hardcover version, just with a cool cover and some people signing it.

That is exactly the difference of the Deluxe Hardcover, vs. the Hardcover. Just a different cover, there is no other difference between the books.

The 2nd Printing of the Manga Edition should have all the corrections that were found in the Hardcover Edition. But it shouldn't have the expanded information such as the starships.
