Least Favorite DB?

Is there a DB you can't stand? Maybe it's the picture or the writeup?

Auto-Gs.
While "Auto-G" is a decent enough name, "Auto-Genetic" is just stupid.
And the term was tossed out in 1990, then left abandoned for quite a few years, leaving me to imagine all kinds of things that an "Auto-G" might be, and ultimately being very disappointed.

The best explanation (before the official description) was that an "Auto-G" was an "Automatically Generated" robot, which is to say a robot created by an automated factory that wasn't shut down during the apocalypse, and so was just running and running over the years, decades, or centuries.
THAT's a pretty cool concept, one with lots of potential!

The official Auto-Gs are essentially Changelings that you can't detect with a blood test.
Big whoop.

They're naturally ambidextrous MDC beings with teleport abilities.
That's a hell of a lot more than what humans have.
If they weren't lazy, floopers would be taking over.

For some reason, I really don't like the Sword Fists.

How do they wipe? Poodle carpet scooch perhaps?
I know they're supposed to have prehensile toes, but c'mon from their illustration they don't look that prehensile.

How do you know that their anus is in the place you are thinking it is? Maybe their scat is a hard pellet that leaves no residue? Though, considering the sword fists are one of my dislikes, I do really like the poodle carpet scooch idea!

They are double jointed with prehensile toes, they probably just use their feet to grab the leaf, paper, copy of Erin Tarn's book, etc.

I like Swordfists, but I'm a big Jim Lawson fan. It's vexing that all the pictures show them with one eye but the text seems to imply binocular vision.

While sword arms are permanently armed they are not terribly dangerous to most coalition soldiers given all they pretty much have is their swords. Sure they can in theory fire a gun with their feet but doing so is awkward and they have to be pretty stationary to do so.

I would probably say floopers as my least favorite DB them or maybe the shapers. They are both just silly and if I want some silly mischevious DB running around I would take fey instead.

A gripe I have about the DBees in general, is that they pretty much are all bipedal, humanoids...usually with 5 fingers and two eyes even. You'd think the universe would have more variety. I'd like to see more than the old Star Trek 'Hey slap some clay on my forehead and call me an alien' business. Which Palladium doesn't do for the most part.

I will agree with those two choices. To tell the truth, about half of the D-Bee races seem either just plain silly or just face-palm worthy. Other races I can just not see how they even move about with there awkward forms.

The Rifts term D-Bee (Dimensional Being) refers specifically to bipedal, humanoid (if not human-like) aliens. So tentacled menaces, gurgling goops et cetera WOULD NOT be D-Bees.

Ok, though I suspect the CS would just lump even the slimiest slag or most demonic demon under the DBee moniker.

I'm just expressing my surprise that no one else shares the sentiment. Yet it seems almost everyone who's responded hates Floopers, but I don't think they're that bad (at least not as bad as Butter Trolls).

Nope. They're in D-Bees of NA, but I think they made their first appearance in....Psyscape? Maybe? Not near books, so I cannot verify beyond my gut.
