Super Energy Expulsion....
Is there a NPC in any of the Heroes Unlimited books that has "Super Energy Expulsion: "?
I am trying to see how the damage is written for an NPC over 6th level for the super blast.
(going from memory) - book says 1D6x10 + 1D6 per level + 30 6th level.
So at 6th level would it be: 1D6x10+5D6+30? or 1D6x10+30?
At 7th level would it be: 1D6x10+6D6+30? or 1D6x10+1D6+30?

Solar Scarab (Gramercy Island) is the first one I have found, but his super-blast write-up is contradictory to the main power text, since at third level it is 2D6x5.
As I read it from his write-up, his normal blast adds 1D6 per level after first (thus keeping with the current approach to skill increases I believe). So taking this with the HU2 power write-up I would understand it to be as follows:
- 6th level: 1D6x10 +5D6 +30
- 7th level: 1D6x10 +6D6 +30
since it describes +D6/level, rather than increasing the multiplier.

but i go with

This must be that "new math" we've heard so much about....
1D6x10 + 6D6 + 30 = 1D6x16 + 30 = 1D6x16 + 4D6 = 1D6x20 = 2D6x10
I think it is more that Bombshell reverses the growth progression of the damage, and Alpha Prime and Deadhead have different damage values at the same level.

Shock from G.M. Guide (page 123) and Rifter #39 (53-54) has Super Energy Expulsion at 11th
level and has it doing 2D6x10+6. There is no indication they add +30 points to the damage.
Just 1D6x10+11D6. Then again in that adventure she wearing those power amplifiers and
maybe no wanted her doing 2D6x10+36 x2 for damage or it was an oversight.

As a Enchanted Object NPC, the lowest level his "item" could be is fourth (HU2, pg 149, 2nd column).
Assuming the writer stuck by the rules and added the first "1D6" at second level, then his normal blast is correct @ 6D6 (3D6 1st lev., 4D6 2nd lev., 5D6 3rd lev., and finally 6D6 at 4th level).
This would mean that his Super Blast *should* be at: 1D6x10+3D6 at 4th level. 1D6x10+4D6 at 5th level, 1D6x10+5D6+30? at 6th (which this could be shortened to 2D6x10 but then the minimum damage rolled is reduced) and 1D6x10+6D6+30 at 7th level.

The below is correct if you go by the additional 1D6 per level starts at 2nd level (the write up should say this, same for skills. In my mind 1st level is a level as well!)
Alpha Primes damage makes sense if looked at like this:
Super Blast: 1D6x10+6D6+30 [comes out to a max of 126 which could be quick rolled as 2D6x10 (should be +6)]
EDIT: Alpha Prime's damage as listed in Century Station is correct. Her race the "Bhlaze" have their own damage listing for their Energy Blasts/Pulses. See Skraypers for clarification.
Bombshell:
1D6x10+7D6+30 [comes out to a max of 132 which could be quick rolled as 2D6x10+15 (should be +12)]
Deadhead: [this one is messed up a slight bit]
Normal Energy Blast: (should be: 3D6+1D6 per level or in his case 9D6) [feasibly this "could" be rolled as 1D6x10]
Super Blast: 1D6x10+6D6+30 [comes out to a max of 126 which could be quick rolled as 2D6x10 (should be +6)] - not 2D6x10+30
Cohort (pg 186 Century Station) [this one is also messed up a slight bit]
Normal Energy Blast: Should be 3D6+1D6 per level. In this case 6D6 (5D6 for his duplicates)
Super Energy Blast: Should be 1D6x10+3d6 (1D6x10+2D6 for his duplicates)
