What was added to the 8x11 version of Shadow?

Unread post by RockJock »

Ok, I have the magna version, but I was curious to see what was added to the bigger format. I'm not a super duper collector, but if there is significant extra information in the big book I might have to pick it up.

Not enough for me to pick it up.

Basically it has some of the spacecraft that was found in Sentinels. And it has Rand's Motorcycle (the one that got crushed by an Invid Trooper). It also has some errata placed in, and updating of weapons and pictures.

So just a couple of pages worth of added fluff? Does anyone out there have the big version of the book, and would you be willing to give me a more detailed rundown?

I have it and for new material it was msotly just the Spaceships.

On the other hand, it has a lot of corrections and fixes for the various errata for the stuff in the smaller book and it is a pretty nice looking hardcover book.

Thanks Jefffar, that is what I needed to know. I might pick it up if I see it, but I probably won't order it, unless it is next years grab bag or something.

Anything new and different, or pretty much the PW/MiO/old Robotech/Macross II setup as far as the rules go?

If you have the Macross II Deck Plan books (Vol 1 or 2) then you have the ship combat rules already.
