apacolyptic mix

You are on your own. The Army is MIA and our government is gone! There are no communications of any kind. Cities and towns have gone dark, and zombies fill the streets. The dead have risen and it would seem to be the end of the world. Help me, Mommy!

I've been using the Silent Hill soundtracks for effect, as well as Disturbed. Come on, after seeing the remake of Dawn of the Dead, how can you not think of Down with the Sickness?

And how about some Static-X? Bled for Days and Push It seems appropriate. And for crossover games, rock out to Powerman 5000 with When Worlds Collide and Bombshell!

Cannibal Corpse

Seriously if you want to get the horror and gore of a zombie apocolypse just listen to caninibal. You may need to read the lyrics off the internet until you get used to Chris Barnes (older stuff) or Corpse Grinder's, (new stuff) vocal styles.

Petrified wood just because we could.

Where's my friggin' cookie? Plus, you said something about a chicken dinner too? By the time Christmas rolls around, I should have a whole dinner and dessert!

Don't you pull that existential crap on me! I'll write a review, you KNOW what happens when I write a review!

And in song related news, how about Superbeast and Dragula from Rob Zombie, and Fix Myself from Fall of Envy?

Sad but True seems strangely appropriate. Or maybe Enter Sandman for everyone that wished they'd wake up from such a nightmare. Here's a thought, what would be your reactions if in the middle of the zombie horde, we were encountered with the very musicians whose songs we were listening to? Would you hope they were Mock Zombies, or would you give them an appropriate death by stereo? And by stereo, I mean two gun barrels?
