Zentradi Female Power Armor

Unread post by FatherMorpheus »

Hey all,
Just got my female power armor put together but I'm not sure where the extra pieces go. I can figure out the fingers, but there are extra pieces I'm confused on.

2 look like eyes or nozzles or something the others look like fins.

Any help?

The two "nozzles" are actually the gun barrels for the two guns on the power armor's chest. They are glued to the circular flat areas on the chest of the model. The fin/ antenna gets glued just behind the power armors "head". Google an image of the female power armor for placement reference.

OK, so I have the gun barrels and antenna. I still am pondering the fin things. They don't seem to look like anything I've seen on Google image search.

I'll keep looking.

I'm guessing by the fin things you mean those little spikes in this pic behind the sensor eye and in between the engines. If they're anything as fragile and tiny as the resin ones, they'll break and most folks won't even notice them in the first place. I plan on leaving mine off. Hopefully that helps.

Congratulations, Palladium Books. You just threw away a customer of 28 years because of how you handled Robotech Tactics.

Found them!

They are kind of cuisses for the power armor, they are those pieces below the eye to either side of the guns (nozzel thigns) and below it. Bah. Those will be fun to attach.

What glue do you recommend for these metal ones? I'm getting mixed results with the stuff I got. The stuff says to put glue on both pieces, let sit for 2 min., then put them together. They should stick rather fast, but I'm having problems with the female power armor's legs. And they are generally, overall, not sticking very fast.

I've been using Loctite® Professional Super Glue. Works very well.

Of course, due to the weight and style of the miniature, I would HIGHLY recommend pinning almost everything. I ended up pinning the legs, arms, main body, base to base and base to body. Now it is rock solid, but without the pinning it might be too fragile.

How did you pin yours?

Using a pin vice and paper clips. Do a YouTube search for pewter miniatures and pinning.

It isn't hard, just need to be patient with it.
