I was working on a list of characters, organizations, locations, and items/gadgets with page numbers.
I got as far as G.M.'s Guide, Mutants Underground, and Villains Unlimited 2nd edition.
I sent a PM to one of the creators of the Nexus online, asking if they could use it, but never got a response.

It's a big list so far. I'll put it the next post so I can edit it at a later time, if I ever start work on it again.
Hopefully it's not too long.

*EDIT: It seems to have fit. Every place you see 8) is actually a number eight with parentheses...8)

Welcome! This is my attempt to create an index of the Heroes Unlimited corner of the Megaverse. Basically I've tried to include any character, organization, location, and item mentioned in the following books:
G.M.'s Guide, Mutant Underground, Villains Unlimited(2nd edition)

Each entry uses the following format.

For organizations:
Name, brief description, base of operations if mentioned (page number)
Characters who are partners in a duo or trio with no mention of a supporting organization and/or base of operations are listed individually.

For characters:
Name, Gender(M=male, F=female,N=N/A), Alignment, Power Category, Level (page number)
Characters who are part of an organization will be listed under it. Leaders are listed first, followed by named characters, then supporting NPC's and typical unnamed agents.
Some characters in the books are mentioned by name only with no details. I've only listed those who seem to have the potential to play a part in further encounters, or may be linked to other adventure plots.

For other stuff (location, item, race):
Name, brief description and how it relates to other characters or organizations (page number)
Locations are listed if they are relevant to a character or act as a base of operations for an organization.
I have not included every item of equipment or weapon in every book. Instead, only those that form the basis for other technologies or origins are listed.

In reference to page numbers, I've used the following abbreviations for the various book titles:
GM=G.M.'s Guide, MU=Mutant Underground, VU=Villains Unlimited(2nd edition)

Someday I'll finish the rest of the books.
It's very time consuming. Basically I was reading the whole book and noting the entries on my laptop at the same time.

Would someone like to take this over?
Even though it's one of my favorite games, I can't see ever getting the time to finish this project.

I've only done the ones you see above:G.M.'s Guide, Mutant Underground, Villains Unlimited(2nd edition)

If someone would like to copy the text above and add the rest of the books to the list, you have my consent to delete this sticky and replace it with a full list.
(Not like you need my permission, but I think you see what I'm saying.)

It would be cool to see a completed reference list, just to see how much stuff is in the Heroes Unlimited universe.

Here's what I have so far:

Welcome! This is my attempt to create an index of the Heroes Unlimited corner of the Megaverse.  Basically I've tried to include any character, organization, location, and item mentioned in the following books:
Century Station, Gramercy Island, Heroes Unlimited (1st Printing), G.M.'s Guide, Mutant Underground, Villains Unlimited (2nd edition)

Each entry uses the following format.

For organizations:
Name, brief description, base of operations if mentioned (page number)
Characters who are partners in a duo or trio with no mention of a supporting organization and/or base of operations are listed individually.

For characters:
Name, Gender (M=male, F=female,N=N/A), Alignment, Power Category, Level (page number)
Characters that are part of an organization will be listed under it.

I have Gramercy Island, in fact I got most of the HU books after making the request for a list.

Just haven't gotten back to this project yet. Darn work. :badbad:

I'll try to get back to it and clean it up a bit, thus finishing the good works that were started by Nemo.

Re: Comprehensive List

So I got through Gramercy Island and then realized that most of Century Station wasn't done either. So I got that in here as well. I still need to go through and make one more pass for all of the characters that are mentioned in NPCs bios, but I believe that I've gotten all of the agencies, specialized items (the ones that make the character), teams and NPCs in this list. I will finish this up soon, but I just wanted you folks to be able to see some progress.

CS (Century Station), GI (Gramercy Island), HU1 (Hero's Unlimited 1st Printing), GM=G.M.'s Guide, MU=Mutant Underground, VU=Villains Unlimited (2nd edition)

If I'm not stepping on anyone's toes here, I'd be happy to add the characters/items/locations from Armaggedon Unlimited. I'm off work right now due to health issues and a bit bored, so I can add them all in the next couple of days, if that's okay?

I really hate to say this, but I can't see getting back to this project any time soon. Maybe someday. I don't know when.
If anyone wants to pick this up, please do so.
You don't need my permission anyway.

I would love to see a complete list.

PS: I also meant to say thank you to Al Blotto for putting in the time and effort to expand the list from books I don't have or just never got around to.
Please check out my Deviant Art gallery
and my Mutants & Magic blog.

Will do. I got halfway through the A.U. list back in August, but got a bit distracted and by the next time I looked at this thread, I noticed that no-one had posted for weeks; I figured everyone had just given up on it, so didn't bother finishing. But I'll complete the list over the next day or two.

I also have Heroes of the Megaverse - is it worth listing those characters, too? It's not strictly a H.U. book... :?:

Oh, snap!

So much for finishing the A.U. list over the next couple of days. I do mean to finish it and add it soon, though; Christmas is just in the way at the moment...
