This being a horror game, I always rule that Sharing the Flesh causes identical wounds to appear on the Nightbane. Thus I would rule that the deformities would occur to the Nightbane's morphus until he regenerated the damage.

I second this motion. This seems like it would be a natural extension of the painful and grisly nature of the talent.

I also agree, although I admit that my interpretation of the power may not be accurate.
Someone else might be able to demonstrate why the power may not function this way, but I like the sound of it myself.
