The bodies either rot away, or are turned over for re-precessing as spare parts. :P

What?

When they die in the nightlands...they either rot away or are re-processed, since they seem to be "constructs." :D

That's assuming they have souls...since they are constructs of some sort. :D

Hounds and their kin melt away on Earth, yes. But what about Ashmedai and Namtar, who're apparently independent races who are "hired" on by the Nightlords?

The Hollow Men bodies do indeed. But what about the Namtar bugs themselves? :D

I don't know about the rest of you, but there usually wasn't much left of them in my campaign. My players were very thorough in disposing of these particular monsters.

apon what they did in life
Svartalf- if Cherico were a character created in a point game system, he'd have all his scores in geeky skills and his youtube and weird net stuff schticks all paid through a a Terminal Bad Luck (with more nasty GM intervention) disadvantage, and probably an Uncouth (can not have social skills) disad as well...
In an RPG with deadly situations that character would have had to be replaced a dozen times over[

I was having a problem with the Nightbane death because in Through the Looking Glass it says that nightbane can be brought back with the zombie spell. :-?

Huh?

What page?

(Yes, I'm too lazy to walk two metres and read the book cover to cover... ;))

Umm, I didn't know Lewis Carroll wrote about Nightbane. :p

*Though that would be an interesting adventure seed*

With regards to Through the Glass Darkly, I would rule that the dead human form of a Nightbane could be raised as a zombie, but would retain none of the living creature's special abilities and simply be an animated corpse.

In that case... why mention that nightbane could be zombified? They are pretty much human in there facade form and can live and die, just like any other mortal.

I thought Nightbane that die in Facade form have a normal corpse and those that die in Mophus melt away. This would explain animating one as a zombie (in Facade at least).

Yeah, I suppose so... there were tons of contradictions that I think could have been avoided if CJ had been part of the books. Or, at least had new writers read the first books. Vey didn't throw in a lot of BS in the face of the original material. (Even though Guardians will never be from space in my games.)
