The real Detroit rocks.

Me and some buddies were just downtown a few weeks ago, visited a few of the different breweries down there, it was a blast! Greektown is an awesome way to spend an evening, go down there with friends, and spend a while just hanging out. I haven't been to Mexican Village yet, but that's a place I definetly want to hit. One really cool place is called the Traffic Jam. It's a little resturant down there, no idea where. They make their own ice cream, bread and beer. And it's across the street from another brewery!

I've lived in the area 20 years, and still haven't done a bunch of the cool stuff. I'm not really a club goer, so I've never been to City Club, but I have been to the State Theatre down there, used to go to Second City when it was down there all the time. No one should be afraid of going down there at all.
