..I actually would read that as the character will pathologically do what he's asked.

..It's worded the way you read it, but I don't think that's the intent.. An aversion to uttering a specific word doesn't make sense, whereas being a pushover is extremely common....

I'd go with Mike and Polarity on this on.

The PC CAN'T say no when asked to do something.

Well, I would take it further, make it more refined. Figure out if there's a certain type of person to whom he's beholden. For example, people older than him, elves, people in a position of authority, military, attractive females, children, etc. Make it something that doesn't come up all the time so he actually has a chance to be autonomous.

" can u get that can of milk im thirsty"

I'd play this person as someone who wants to please anyone who asks him to do something.

yeah thats were peole of old stored thier milk after the cow was um milked i mean i could call it a jug but its metal or a bottle but its kind of big and well it s metal so yeah its a can plus im a city boy and i dont rember the real name of that huge metal jug used to store milk

ohh i meant did not have to fulfil what was asked, kind of like what most teenagers do to get parents to get off thier back while watching the tube or playing a video game

Jester wrote:...Or like in the Monty Pythons the Holy Grail, the "Knights who say Ni" , when I can't remember which knight was trying to explain about them and the other knight couldn't say Ni . he tried and tried but couldn't manage it.

..Uh, King Arthur returned with the shrubery asked for, but was told to go and get another because they were no longer the knights who say Ni, but rather the Knights who say "Hey-wha-hee-na-ninny-ninny-nu!" or some such; however the rest of the knights paused and then just continued to say "Ni!"

Maybe you should make it that it can't say ether yes nor no. That would make for a ether a silent one...or one that has to explaine in full, their answer, that does not have ether the word 'yes' nor the word 'no' in it.

Then if you can't say 'no'....then can it saw 'know'?

*looks @ aurthur saying* " it "
