Any martial arts for non humans?

Unread post by ScottBernard »

Any specific for Elves, Dwarfs, Halflings or other races?

It can be either in a book or homebrew.

The only one I know of in canon is the dragon hand-to-hand in RUE. That's a neat idea, though. I'd love to see what Hand-to-Hand: Gnome-Fu would do.

I started thinking about it, and my usual response was "What if I just made it so combat training was more flexible?" and developed a system which didn't use discrete martial arts forms with set bonuses.

Greetings and Salutations. I'm mostly taking a brief break from posting on the forums (mostly just taking some me time, and posting takes a lot of effort for me), but the Ninjas & Superspies Netbook has some unofficial/homebrew styles based on race. If you need links, someone else may help you or I'll probably get around to it in a few days if no one else has. Farewell and safe journeys for now.

Greetings and Salutations. I went through the sections of the PMAN site, looking at the various styles listed in the PF setting. I may have missed some, but I think this should cover them. Note: This post has been edited, as it was initially posted with the site styles from A-M, and later edited to include N-Z.

For Gnomes and Halflings:
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Sty ... ancing.htm

For Dwarves:
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Sty ... eaking.htm (also available to Gnomes and Kobolds)
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Sty ... stling.htm
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Sty ... a_fhuz.htm

For Elves:
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Styles/jarorin.htm
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Sty ... t-nuru.htm (technically available to other races)
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Styles/zentrial.htm

For Kobolds:
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Styles/sercruun.htm

For Orcs:
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Sty ... ousing.htm (also for Ogres and Trolls)

For Trolls:
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Sty ... combat.htm (also for Ogres and True Giants)

For Wolfen:
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Sty ... rleiwk.htm (primarily for Soldiers)
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Sty ... _fi_do.htm (35% of students are Kankoran, and 5% non-canine races)
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Sty ... y_hand.htm

For Kankoran:
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Sty ... spirit.htm

For Bearman of the North:
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Sty ... ipclaw.htm

For Jotan:
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Sty ... geting.htm (can be learned by other giants, such as Trolls and True Giants)

For Titans:
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Sty ... anship.htm

For Gromek:
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Sty ... esh_ka.htm

For Lupian (I think this was a homebrewed race):
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Styles/koluqis.htm

For Dark Elves (another homebrew race, from what I can tell):
http://www.geocities.ws/kuseru/PMAN/Sty ... deirth.htm (though allowed to teach other races)

Have fun with that, and will try to find more later. I may have missed an art or two, but I think I got them all. Keep in mind, there are more PF martial arts on that site, just none that are listed for race alone. Farewell and safe journeys.

Greetings and Salutations. My last post (above) has been edited to now include the entire PMAN site (from the N&S Netbook). I decided to edit the previous post so as to have them all in one easy to access location, and am making this second post in case someone read the last post and doesn't look back to notice the edit. Farewell and safe journeys.

Greetings and Salutations. Always happy to help. Though I realized I was remiss earlier. I was so focused on the PMAN site that I forgot a werebeast hand to hand on my site. This one isn't in the same N&S format as the other links provided, but still a Hand to Hand.

Werebeasts:

Hope that helps. Farewell and safe journeys.
