Heroes Unlimited in Fantasy Campaign

I'm looking for advice. I recently have gotten back into the Palladium Megaverse of games and I am looking to combine Heroes Unlimited with Palladium Fantasy. Something about superheroes in a fantasy setting sounds really fun to my gaming group and I. We have a fun campaign idea in mind, but I wanted to get some feedback on character creation.

My thought is to have my players roll up Palladium Fantasy characters normally, but to then roll for super powers from Heroes Unlimited. I was going to eliminate the option for Robotics and Bionics. Do you think this would work, or should I limit everyone to human characters, and then roll for super powers?

Has anyone here had success running this type of campaign? Are there any books I should reference? The whole idea of the Megaverse is really appealing to my players, and I thought HU and PF would combine quite easily.
