An attempt to breathe a little life back into the forum

Well, at least for a little while. We need to assemble another collection of links for vehicles, equipment, survival techniques, movies, etc; like we used to have before the auto-pruner ate the old one(s). (I could be wrong, but I think there were 2 that got eaten by the pruner)
