What about a cain, amulet/locket/brooch, pocketwatch, handkerchief, cuff links, and collar button?
Or a writing desk, ladies fan, tulip bulb, rapier, and a copy of the kama sutra?

Is this game set in the Victorian era, so you need items from that time, or is it set in the modern age but you want Victorian era items?

If it is set in Victorian times than you can use all sorts of ancient artifacts that have been dug up during this age. This is the time when all of our modern museums started filling up with stolen objects from other parts of the world. Regardless of the time period I love to use books/scrolls, artwork, and weapons.

Items specific to this to me would gas lamps, cameras, telegraph, maps, or a scientific diary of someone like Darwin or Freud. I also love, and probably way overuse, the writing desk.

This is actually the first time I have heard him mention it. And we usually work together on games.

But this maybe for the auction that's getting ready to happen in the next game.

I would say, change the rapier to a military saber. But while the 1st list was what I was wanting, I certainly can incorporate the others into the story. Thank you, Shannon. And yes, the game will sorta be set in a BTS/Fantasy/steampunk setting within the Victorian era. Though, it will be not as historically accurate as you might expect from me. There will be tech that is well beyond the scope of the average Victorian, at least in our own dimension. And THANKS in part to your little time travel adventure, several weeks back...um, the last of February.

For the record: I was not involved in the plot to equip the population with a list of unhealthy compounds, showed them how to make the "magic bullet", etc...I just gave them the solar tower steam power, the light bulb, a few Tesla inventions, zeppelin, etc to King William IV before he became King. LOL But how was I to know he was a psionic? LOL

1 a book about tenticals (McGuffin)
2 Two cultist groups
3 a train or airplane
4 a rich person and his hired goons...I mean adventurers.
5 a deadline (to be on the plane or train w/o the others with the book, or off the train or plane with the book w/o the others following)

Oddly enough, NOPE. Though at some point, I would like to do one.
