D&D: The Tomb of Eldrich Lore

Unread post by Nightmask »

Just curious of anyone's ever had it in a game where the original printing of AD&D actually was a tome filled with working magic and rituals for the summoning of demons? I was left wondering about it after reading the Spinnerette webcomic where it actually was a tome of eldrich lore and resulted in a presidential order from Carter to have all copies destroyed (naturally a plot point revolved around a villain acquiring a surviving copy).
Fair warning: I consider being called a munchkin a highly offensive slur and do report people when they err in doing so.

It's 'canon', not 'cannon'. A cannon is a big gun like on pirate ships, canon is what you mean when referring to something as being contained within one of the books such as how many dice to roll for a stat.
