Take a look at this Rifts® collectible madness: Someone online is selling Rifts® Novel 3: Treacherous Awakenings with an asking price of $1,000. If I recall correctly, I think we only printed 8,000 copies (vs 20,000 copies of the first two novels), and I have seen it selling for as much as $300-$500, but one for $1,000?! Wow. I was floored. Seems like an ambitious asking price, but I don’t know. Btw, we will be making this novel available as a PDF on DriveThruRPG.com either by the end of this week or next week. It will sell for a lot less than 1,000 bucks, I promise.
