Ley Line Walkers get their own Special Abilities...ala Ley Line Communication/Rejuvenation, Observation Balls, etc. Most of which are lame, and only work on Ley Lines. Shifters can Dimensional Teleport Home. And get extra "Shifter" spells per level. And can have a pact with a Supernatural...

LLW have always needed some help. Were I to run a game, I would multiply their Ley Line Powers by a factor of 10 while on a ley line, and let them have them as written when not. Although it is something I would never allow or try to make, I credit you with making the weapon a realistic size.

The pylons instantly fly into action the moment the trigger is pulled. The pylons are necessary due to the knockback generated by the force of the blast.

Plenty of monsters in the New West book you can throw at him. I suggest plenty of Grigleapers, Leatherwings and Rhino Buffalos. Also, if you're feeling really nasty, a Gwylack.
