It quite honestly depends on the alignment, OCC, player and the specific actions. A Scrupulous or Principled using torture is a lot more alarming than an Aberant doing so for instance. A margin call I will generally allow to slide unless it's an OCC with a special code of conduct.

It will also depend to some degree on which acid and how it's delivered. Something delivered in an oil base like the squids ink isn't going to dissipate quickly and if you go with something along the viscosity of napalm you can get burning oil underwater.

Ink mods could pretty easily be done for acid and a specialized gaseous bubble of methane that could be used to sink surface vessels and slow swimming targets.

Oh, looks like I wasn't quite specific enough with my tentacle adjustments - it's the secondary tentacles that needed adjusting. The main tentacles were pretty well proportioned to the main body at 3:5 and I'd keep that proportion.

Yeah, I definately like my size numbers if you want this to function similar to Leviathans with internal housing. Allows for plenty of room for the pilot without the biotech being unbelievable. Also solves crush pressure and breathing for the pilot without forcing a lot of mandatory aquatic upgrades...

Missiles aren't the only area effect weapon in Splicers, just the easiest example. Either way, it's a matter of playstyle - more lethal uses damage to other parts, less lethal uses main body only. My groups always want to see what more lethal is like for a couple of sessions then they beg to go back...

Last time I had a group opt for blast radius damage being everything, I crippled a behemoth in 2 melee rounds when they got caught by a NEXUS patrol. It was not a good day for the group.

The horn is, well, a horn. The frills could easily be artist conception of radar or sonar upgrades. The glowing fish/eel looking thing at the shoulder could be a squib explosive or something completely unrelated to the armor thats flying/floating in it's foreground in the picture.

Forearm blades, needle death blossom, force field, casting gun, resin ducts. For backup weapons, acid blades and bio-e pistols are personal favorites for Biotics and Scarecrows.
