The art I've seen has been good, but Palladium has an excellent stable of regular artists and I've seen nothing yet that's up there with classic Long, or Walton or Perez et al; colour or no.

Keivn's method is quite effective I find - Start with a villain that has an interesting concept, then stat him/her/it out completely and you'll find, in doing so, that the adventure ideas write themselves.

Counterfeiting or defacement of coinage (considered a Royal Offience) was certainly harshly treatly until relatively recently in the UK - in the late 17th century, you could still be burned at the stake for clipping coin. See here.

Awesome news GK - Splicers is such a cool and unique setting it, and the Spliceheads, deserves some sweet sweet lovin'.

Just make the godly origin contradictions/differing interpretions part of your game, rather than a meta issue. Think how many deaths/schisms/crusades/jihads there have been IRL over different takes on mythology.

....failing a Hades trip.. anyone have any suggested modifications to the spell to make it slightly less game stealing? Does the spell (I'm at work) detail how quickly the river appears? Is it a case of one second, open plains, next second instant lava pit? Maybe it could be house-ruled to originate...

Really excited about this book - I've really enjoyed the whole Minion War series.

I wonder whether they'll need to be a Minion War "Aftermath" type book, or whether MiF will tie things up - perhaps the series is not meant to rock the meta-plot too heavily anyway?
