Re: Best "Battle Song"
Flare Jenius took battle music to a wholly new (and stupid) level when he started shooting his enemies with speakers and sing at them until they got annoyed and left. I didn't mind the singing but the shooting speakers at his foes to get his song across was a little much for me.

Ya well I'm not personally fond of Gangsters and Drug dealers. Both of which are not good people yet you don't see me harvesting their organs for profit. Killing faries when they attack you is ok. Killing faries when they annoy you debatable. Murdering faries to build your trade empire not so ok.

I'd say yes but it would take uo one of your attacks. If the GM does not agree with me then (the gm's an idiot ) at the least you should forfeit the right to parry the person/monster that is attacking you for that melee.

If you are looking for a D&Dish bard than you would want the song mage in rifter. I'd say that one works well for a magic based bard. Of course if you want to be a REAL bard you would be the one from adventures on the high seas.

the only problem with the holmes as xit scenario is that if you read the xit's reactions to just one robot or power armour is that marching a full army threw their territory would be a death sentence. But that is a debate for Another thread.

That is the one thing i did not like. If a party walks threw xitic turf and happen to have 1 robot or large power armour the hive goes nuts and slaughters them all. Holms walks threw with thousands of armour and loud vehicles and the hive herasses them a bit then leaves them alone.

If it bothers you that much than just make a house rule that the Mech can be used by one guy. It just functions better with two people instead of one. Problem solved.
