I had an original print run copy, sold it after some PB shenanigans, and bought it again for nostalgia. It will sit on my shelf.

Re: Where do Changeling come from?
I always assumed that 2 changleings would know when a person is a changeling or not (kind of like Nightbane being able to sense each other). They each choose a sex and then mate...out comes a baby changeling that is quite fragile and vulnerable until it learns to change shape. The parents better eit...

Its not really a question of truth. It's a question of did he understand the question. If he didn't understand it how could he be lying. Yeah the other thing that concerned me was that the sword of hers seemed real eager to kill the man. Course that could just be my interpretation. It looks like you put a bunch of effort into what you got going on here so I really wont comment about it. I ruled that they could keep those, but loose their special oozing abilities. The CK really needs a rewrite/clairification. well, what I meant also was that the Forge isn't going to call an oozing ball of slime... at least not in my uni. might be good for a comedy campaign, hence the Cosmic Chainsa...

* Loss of natural abilities?: In the end, it's the GMs call, but I advocate that they vanish in favour of the new powers. A quick perusal of the section on the Western Army didn't turn up any restriction on the race of Jannisaries; one weakness that Bill's work DID have was that he tended to ignore race a fair bit. It does mention that they tend to be the best from each of the local noble houses personal armies, so I ...

Warlocks are very powerful. Look at the 2nd level fire spell, Cloud of Ash for instance, or many of the others. Now I do think that the amount of spells and the starting amount of spells is low compared to the other magic classes though . I agree with the bolded part. I have a warlock in my group a...

Nope not that I can recall. The closest thing to limbo might be the Astral Plane. Purgatory is not likely to be mentioned because of its connection to catholicism. I think the Astral Plane is discussed in Rifts® World Book 12: Psyscape. Could be other places but I can't recall at the moment. Carl N...

While skimming through Eastern Territory looking for some stuff for my NPC Ogre Palladin of Rurga I have been working on, I keep running across these Knightly Orders from various NPC's, but no where in the book describes them. I guess it really boils down to what you want your Dragoons in your games to represent and/or what kingdom in the game is calling what a Dragoon and how much training/equipment they get. I would say the definition of Dragoon would mean many things to different people.
