Re: Introducing new to palladium players to the system.
Kraynic, those are some excellent notes on the system! Omnibane, I know what you're going through. This is why I usually use Heroes Unlimited as the introduction to Palladium, as I find that those who are experienced with other systems spend too much time comparing and too little time embracing if t...

Palladium could definitely benefit from setting up an Amazon Marketplace so people can order with Prime Shipping. I know a ton of people who would order more books, more often, if they didn't have to worry about shipping fees. I know I would love to support the company directly, but I can't afford i...

Greetings, In the Three Galaxies, money takes on a whole new dimension when you look at players who want their own spaceship or who want to get something going. As soon as you hit space and want to dream of a special ship, you quickly look at a price of hundreds of millions, if not billions of cred...

<snip> But let's see...the spell FEAR is 5 PPE for 1 minute per level of experience; let's use that as a basis... Let's up the duration of the spell, to longer; it's not a total blocking magic, but it takes the edge off Horror Factor,...so 5 minutes per PLE? That way you can make it 5 PPE, same as ...

I thought of this for an upcoming Nightbane game where one of the characters is a Nightbane Sorcerer with a teddy bear Morphus that wears a baby blanket as a cape. You are correct. It does not say the test is conducted by another Druid. In fact, the wording is such that a clever GM can do anything to test the Druid, which opens up some incredible storytelling possibilities.
Having never played, nor GMed, a Druid before, I had not noticed this. So nice catch.

Depends on how harsh you want to be. There's greater story potential there (for a player willing to capitalize on it) than the...
