“THE DEED OF PAKSENARRION and the paladins legacy series by Elizabeth Moon. Now the first book of the deed of paksenarrion is very good read and has some nice ideas for a mercenary campaign

Destroids are 1 destroid = 1 squad 4 squads = a platoon 4 platoons = a company so a company would be 16 Destroids of the 4 platoons + 2 additional destroids as a command element for a total of 18 Destroids. They are organized more along the lines of an armor company.

The other big factor stopping both powers is the seasonal period you will have for open warfare. Three to five months for fighting. Now by the time winter sets in you will need three to five mothers of supplies built up for any troops that are not pulled back so that can last the winter.

Have the Ogre slavers use holds pg45 of the second addition. They deal no damage and have the ogres work in groups of two to three when taking the captives. City of kaash pg 142 of the eastern territories see the leather shop for some items for your ogre slavers.

Seto you are correct in that the VF-1 Fighter squadrons are listed as 12 fighters per squadron and are broken down into flights or teams of three fighters each in the Macross saga.

I think you will find that they listed is as 15 because for the Shadow Chronicles they changed the squadron size to 15 fighters, in three flights of 5 fighters each.

Make sure they did not use Ninjitsu from Ninjas & superspies they are allowed 2 powers from arts of invisibility and 2 more skills from body Harding exercises, martial art techniques or special katas.
