With the light missile pods what I did was use my larger magnets and actually glue them inside the pod when assembling it onto the half that was there (who thought having half the joint missing made a mistake!) Well if its just the case that the pods are much quicker to assemble and paint (I agree with this statement, I'm getting through 3 pods in the time it takes me to do 1 destroid/battloid) then as time progresses things should balance out hopefully.
