Lyn-Srial Pantheon (also we need more D-Bee pantheons)
I've been playing a Lyn-Srial in the new Rifts campaign my group started up, and have been really wishing that certain aspects of their culture (and things about their home world) were fleshed out more. I haven't seen anything on what deities this race worships, so I decided a good start would be to...

Re: How Old Will You Be On December 22, 2098? And Where?
1. How old will you be when The Great Cataclysm comes?: 116 2. Where do you think you will be? (This should be based on that you have no idea it's coming). : Probably long since gone and dead, but if not likely still living in California. All though I like to travel, so I could be off traveling any ...

Re: Kevin's Latest Murmur
There's nothing wrong with going into a trade rather than going to college. A plumber can get a job as a plumber in any city. Most college graduates I know don't actually have jobs related to their degree. I consider this a failure. Why did they get the degree if it doesn't contribute anything but ...

Re: Curious about the Future of Rifts Rpg
I don't have any experience with Canada, but I know where I grew up it was really popular, but as time has gone on, it's become less and less so. What's become really popular is White Wolf's World of Darkness LARP games, and not the new ones so much as the older out of print ones. Lots and lots of p...

Re: Looking For Reptilian Race...
There's also a bunch of reptilian races in Aliens Unlimited, though I can't recall if any are particularly magically inclined. That book has tons of races though, so it's really worth picking up. Someone all ready mentioned draconids, and they aren't technically reptiles (oddly) but do look the part...

Question about glowing lyn-srial
So, the book states Lyn-srial glow with the light of the sun when angry or happy, but what I'm wondering, does their glow affect creatures sensitive to sunlight in the same way? Or perhaps just spook them (because they might for a moment think it's going to hurt them)? Also any mention anywhere on h...

Re: YOU was Transported to RIFTS and Become another Species ??
Yay to revive a dead thread. Lyn-Srial would be cool, but I'd like to be something that lives a really incredibly long time (might not even age after a certain point, can't recall) like the athanatos in Nightbane. A powerful angelic-sort of being, with both psionic and magical capability. Yes they c...

Re: Current Top Ten Tabletop RPG's
Yeah Old WOD and D&D (and you could throw Pathfinder in there with D&D because they seem to be running neck and neck popularity wise) are easily the most popular RPGs in my neck of the woods. Rifts used to be about as popular as D&D a little over a decade ago (at least in my area), but a...

Re: Fan Races!!
I really like the hyper kittens, I'd be tempted to play something like that in an all animals game (or maybe an vicious evil bunny with pointy teeth, and deadly cuteness). I wanted to play something with a Celtic theme, but races with a Celtic theme are sorely lacking so I rolled up something random...

Re: Upcoming projects for Phase World®
I like to see Aliens of the 3 Galaxies. Did they tell the number of Alien races in the 3 galaxies? Do you think ther will be 3 Galaxies 2? With All New Adventure ideas. Yes I really want to see an aliens of the three galaxies book, but mainly I want to see an aliens book with expanded alien race cr...

Re: Help me with a character idea to fit this theme/group
I'm not seeing why they think that the temporal warrior is too powerful, but not the oni Ninja, which is also a more powerful character type compared to the rest of the group. In fact thanks to being innately MDC the oni Ninja has a real edge against a temporal warrior that's of an SDC race, plus it...

Re: Scathach Druid magic items rules (some seem to be missing)
I didn't even think of looking at Palladium Fantasy. But yeah, seems to me they should have a chance to fail, which means either maybe that skill in Palladium Fantasy would work (I'll have to go dig up the book and look at it), or a slightly modified version of the Mystic Kuznya one could work (wher...

Re: Scathach Druid magic items rules (some seem to be missing)
It warms my heart to see someone using material from England. --flatline For all the flaws the book has, it really has a few very sweet classes. There's actually another player using a Rifts England class (temporal wizard), and I was playing a temporal warrior for a while. Funny thing is it's not e...

Re: Age of your average Rifter?
I'm 29, currently play once a week in person. I love it how WoD players consider Rifts to be munchkinny, it's definitely a case of the pot calling the kettle black. I've played quite a bit of Rifts and lots of WoD games, they are both really easy to get insanely munchkinny with. I think WoD might al...

Scathach Druid magic items rules (some seem to be missing)
So, I've started playing a Scathach Druid, but there's some rules that seem to be missing. They are described as expert metalworkers... but there's no metalworking rules detailed. So if my character wants to forge a sword, or make iron armor or some such, what do I roll to see if I'm successful? Can...
