I couldn't even meet the Prerequisites on a few of the OCCs I was planning to use. (Keep in mind, the book says roll 3d6 in order, so there's no shuffling around.) Then, I l...

Shadow Chronicles OVA would dispute this, the UEEF is mentioned to have nano-tech medical equipment that helped heal Vince Grants wounds pretty quickly (he didn't need a cast or bandages). Since the latest edition of the game is still missing some of the capital ships of the Robotech universe, and there's really no clear indication of the capital ships book as a coming-anytime-soon sourcebook, I'm hoping to get as much of the canon (or as close to it as possible) information up on the...

It seems inelegant to me. MDC is MDC, and if you're changing it based on the attacker, something is wrong IMO. Doing extra damage based on "weak points" sounds like a job for the critical hit system. I see where you're coming from, but to me, it works because I don't subscribe to the MDC ...

Or (I guess this is #4) ignore weapon damage values, volleys and number of weapons. Just say each round a ship is getting hit by weapons from one other ship is a loss of 1/8 of it's MDC. Thus, two ships can duke it out for 8 rounds. Dodging, getting the initiative, and weapons range then become ver...

I would reduce weapon damage to 1/10th or add really good shields. The "Fantoma", the little haydonite ship, deals an average of 32000 MD if each weapon fires at the same target once and hits. That is more than twice the value of it's forward section. It's also more than the forward secti...

it really depends on how you want your game to feel. if the ship is a plot device only, then rolling lots dice is really just camouflage to move the plot along. on the other hand if the ship is a major focus of the story, then you need to be very detailed on just what the ship can do, sort of a sta...
