LS.org on Facebook.

Our friend Natasha opened a group on Facebook which was going to be used for a summer collaboration project for lazlosociety.org but it never got off the ground. Since I so rarely come to the forums and some of the other folks never do, Facebook seemed like a good idea at the time. If you are intere...

Also you're using the colour for non-visited link that is traditionally used for already-visited link. I wouldn't do that.

Re: Lazlo.Org April First.

We'd have to remove the joke from it, or wait until next year. Removing the joke would probably kill it since it was clearly an April Fool's (unlike some of the ones we've done in the past (maybe)). And I don't plan on waiting until next year. The basic premise was that Katja woke up one morning to ...

My guess is the OP poster doesn't have the book; otherwise he might have mentioned it rather than Shadowrun. Also, not everybody prefers cross-game solutions. At least I know I don't. It isn't cross-game. All PB's are just Rifts sourcebooks... in MY opinion. That's cool. My personal experience is t...

I like some of the temporal magic stuff, but don't like that they don't work against the supernatural and such.

I like the one you mentioned. I would add off the top of my head to it Paralysis, Carpet of Adhesion, and Cloud of Slumber.

This is a good start. Cybermancer has a topic around here somewhere, maybe it's on page two by now, talking about this stuff.

But in the mean time these would be good questions to answer, I think:

Do you have a character concept or a character completed?
What kind of story are you looking to create?

Limit the scope of the story.
Comedy puts one off his guard, and that's why it's sometimes useful in the tension-relief cycle.
Build up, threaten, and assault the reader's emotional security.
Splatter isn't necessarily horror.
