Re: Character Creation
Why not invest in the Character generator?? Then they have a character in a very short period of time.

Re: Is there any errata on combining the three Strength Powers?
Can a character have/possess Extraordinary P.S., Superhuman P.S. & Supernatural P.S. just wondering? Answer : It would be up to the G.M.'s discretion to allow a character to possess more than one of the super-type strengths. Usually, the character just gets the better of the types· From https:/...

Re: Reorganising the Palladium Fantasy RPG rulebook
I think its very important to also write about ranged combat in combat section. It was really confusing for me to understand ranged combat until I came to these forums and asked. Ranged attacks are quire fundamental. I would also like a change to terminology; stop use "Melee action" and st...

Re: Stealth Mechanics
It has the most opposed rolls of any game i know, because most of the time when someone hits you, you get to parry/dodge/roll with punch etc. Im sorry, should have said no oppose rolls on skills. Combat is of course another beast and would be less fun without all the special things one can do insid...

Re: Stealth Mechanics
As I have understood it, this is not a game where opposed rolls have existed nor should exist. Thats why, when you are prowling for instance, the GM take into account how hard it should be; are the guards on alert?, are there any good "hiding spots" along the route? how´s the illumiation? ...

Re: Stealth Mechanics
I do neither of that actually. I give the prowler modifications based upon the difficulties such as the ground is wet, if the area is actively watched, light etc etc. So the Prowler is the only one making the roll. If successful - great, if not - great, prepare for combat! :) The modfications can so...

Re: Palladium Fantasy 2.5e: The Economic Case
I would buy that book in an instant!! :) As someone who are rather new to Palladium Fantasy there where some rules that confused me quite a lot. Luckely this forum is full of great people that takes time to help and clarify. I would have loved that ranged combat was explained in the combat section w...

Re: Turn Dead
Just a follow-up question, since I am rather new to PF and have had no priest (unfortnately in my group). Isn´t TD rather useless if it takes 2 full turns? 30 seconds and rather open for attacks seems like a bad trade-in, especially if your group are small. Im considering to make TD a 2 actions pray...

Re: New Basic Character Sheet: Rekindled & Refreshed (with a Character Sheet Makeover!)
I think its great. One thing I would have done is to use page 2 for two rows of notes. Many O.C.C.s have special abilities that one could fit there as well as other stuff like contacts or other important persons. Page 2 will come anyway, so why not make it easy to write there. :) The small part you ...
Re: Whykin
Dustin, perhaps that something you would like to write again to send in for the late Rifter or the one after that. Think most people here would absolutely LOVE some indepth information regarding Whykin. I think Kingsdale/Whykin/MerctownEl Dorado area is one of the most interesting one!! Of course I ...

PB fantasy 2:nd edition Ranged question
I do know that a bow doesn't calculate in P.S. bonus damage but I do wonder if thrown weapons and slings do add P.S. bonus damage?
I could not find anything regarding it but leaning towards no damage bonus since it's already dificult to avoid/parry ranged weapons???
Any help would be appretiated.

Re: A few questions from a new GM
Im so happy for all the great help I get here. So I will go with PF 2ed rules as so wisely recomended! A few more questions popped up. Are there a way of balancing encounters or is it like in Savage Worlds where I come from recently that I need to Oh so carefully try out? And lastly, how genereous s...

Re: A few questions from a new GM
Thanks everyone for the replies, very much appretiated. So if I plan to run other PB games (which I do), should I use the no P.P and target number 8 OR do you think I would be wisest to go with solely Palladium Fantasy 2:nd edition rules to not bog it down? I want the players to feel familiar when I...

A few questions from a new GM
Im about to start a campaign (well will be several later on) soon. Unfortnately Im not 100% clear on a few things which I hope you could help me with. This will be about 2:nd edition of Palladium Fantasy. Regarding ranged weapons: Is P.P. + to strike used here? I cant find anywhere stating that it d...

Re: Spell Casters who lose their tongues
I tink only option 1 is viable since option 2 and 3 involves said necromancer to cast a spell which he/she is prohibited from since the necromancer do not have a tounge which is a prerequisite for forming coherent words. Coherent words is needed when casting the spell. Of course someone else could c...
