It's been a long time since I've gmd a HU game (There was only 1e at the time), but I just didn't allow invulnerability in my games. I think I replaced it with an ability that added a lot of SDC and HP but nobody ever took it.

Just got the Rifter #85 at drivethrurpg. According to "from the desk of KS" they have a new policy of not announcing new books until the manuscript is approved. So, I suppose that this means only that no manuscript has been approved. So, maybe, there is still hope

The one thing I miss about 1e was the hand to hand differences. Each man of arms class had slightly different hth bonuses. I don't remember details, but I liked the idea. If I ever play it again, I think I'm going to bring (something like that) back borrowing heavily from Ninjas & Superspies

This game is still my favorite in terms of how they treated martial arts styles. The only thing I don't like is that there has ever been only a single expansion (though, that expansion--i.e. Mystic China--is excellent!
